facebook.
a name which get hot recently.
a name which you always find in your email inbox (no matter if you're yet a member).
a social networking site which makes you addicted hours per day.
a model for the future social networking in the web 2.0 environment.

as a user. i've got many emails in my inbox about my friends' activities (in facebook). facebook was great for linking up with friends who you might not contact for ages. and at most of the time (guess it's what most of the people do). for you to look up friends' friends... curiosity... ha......

and also the million of applications do drive you crazy... sending out a round of drinks/bear/voka/holiday gifts/graffiti... etc... to your friends... but... when will the bear come to reality... haha



as a man working in this field. there is news on facebook everyday. it recorded 117% growth rate in aug. in the US social networking site reaching 19million users according to acnielson. in hong kong. according to hitwise hk. it just ranked 19th amongst all websites with 0.69% market share in aug. how long will it take for facebook to threaten xanga in the hong kong market tho. the two websites do have quite a different users' profile.

and how brands could make use of this platform. especially with the addictive usage of the applications by the users. to deliver their message to the target audience.

looked at the sports b. bag for a while already. and just heard that we could get the vip card with $2k spending. with no hesitation. just go into the shop and grab the bag and a jean. job done... haha. it looks great and good for traveling...

have bought the dvd set of the lord of the ring (i was always thinking of watching it continuously for 9+ hours... insane). and also got arthur and the minimoys. the queen. tales from earthsea back home.

just finished tales from earthsea. it is quite good tho. i like hayao miyazaki's movies more. in a nuts shell. the artwork and animation is good but the story was a bit too long and not getting to the point precisely. it's still a good movie to recommend.

recently. i started to think about qs like what will it be 10 years later. what am i doing. where am i at that time...... which leads to the q. what do i want for the next 10 years (well... in fact. it has been raised in my mind for a long long time).

i do have lots of stuff wanna do / achieve in my life. however. i could tell none of them are even started. the puzzle is like messily loosing everywhere. might be that's what a gemini person be. it gotta be fixed up soon to fly up higher...

this summer. was definitely exciting for the movie lovers with a lot of great movies. there was one of my favorites - pirates of the carribbean 3 and the transformers (i'm still waiting for both of the dvd set... -.-) and i did watch 不能說的秘密. 2 days in paris. evan almighty. harry porter and the order of phoenix. ratatouille. the simpsons movie. most were great but i love 2 days in paris and ratatouille the most.



2 days in paris. truly reflect the difference of french and american. and i like the way they describe and argue about love and sex... and the culture. the most impressive one was the scene which julie delpy and adam goldberg was started to have sex with julie tried to take the lead on top. however. you would be surprised by the way adam responded... (it's interesting... )



ratatouille. an other awesome movie by pixar. the animation was in tremendously details and the story was great tho. the message was not new. but definitely it's encouraging (well... at least for me ;p). the last pixar movie i love was car while this mouse now replacing it.

by the way. i missed the animation movie which named the girl who leapt through time (toki wo kakeru shojo)
